In my opinion, no. You would drive up the price of the coin and have to pay very high prices for the coin once it became hard to buy. However, to realize a profit from your investment you would have to sell, and once you started selling the price would probably drop quickly.

When you are talking about really rare coins, the prices are so high that the market is not very liquid. That makes it difficult, but not always impossible, to make substantial profits.

It has always been a rule of thumb…

Had you invested in the Silver Dollar from Mexico that would have been a good investment. Why because as the Spaniards were raiding the gold & silver and send it back to Spain that was the international currency for almost 400 YEARS. No other curries has top that. Not the Rome Empire nor Greek or Egyptians. All averaged around 200 years.

When the British Sterling came into play how long did that last as the international currency??? About 100 years. Now comes the American Dollar. How long did that stay in the as the international currency??? I do believe it came into being around the 1930’s and in the 1970′ it was completely NOT backed by anything. It just printed paper.

So I do believe that we will see this in OUR life time the New Currency will be the Amero Currency thus uniting Canada, USA and Mexico.

Don’t believe?? Just take a look at the Euro Currency. In 1999, the Euro replaced twelve currencies, creating the second most important currency in the world. That was 1999. We are next!!!! Why do you think the dollar is being devaluated by our own government. It is a Fiat currency.

What does this mean???? OUR Liberties will be incapacitated. Our Constitution will disappeared. Don’t believe me look it up. They have been making (minted) since July of 2007 in Colorado. They have a Flag already designed for this Unionization. HR 1955 has already been signed by the Bush Presidency in 2007. And there is a lot more.

SO do not place all your eggs in one basket. I recommended you buy silver and small value coins at that. AND survivable seeds and live near fresh water.
