I live in Los Angeles and have a bachelors degree in finance. However, I do not have any industry experience in business and just recently figured out where my passion lies. The problem now is that I do not know how to best get my foot into the door to become an investment banker. If anyone could please tell me what would be the best jobs to apply for. I hear you need a law degree to become and investment banker? Is that true? What should my majors be in college. Economy/law or can I just do economy or must it be something else.

I am interested in majoring in Business Finance and I am trying to find out about some jobs I could get after college. The two jobs that I am interested in are investment banking or trading (possibly stock trader). So, what are the major differences between the two? Also, are these jobs ones that you could get an internship and do you really have to be in the top schools to get into a good job in these fields?
