failing UPward! “….so brilliant its RETARDED!” gotta get me some of that!
Liberal Think Tank ?
I guess they figured that they have the conservatives under their thumb -and they do- it appears that they’re planning to get the rest of us to behave as well.
I suspect that a Liberal Think Tank will be an attempt to control liberals, the way conservative think tanks control conservatives.
Liberals however tend to be free thinkers.
The Obama team might as well hire Phil Gramm and Thomas Bliley again.
maybe they can figure out how new way to make Enron Economics, Trickle down economics, and Subprime Mortgage Economics.
What Fiasco and what a Poppet Obama has turned out to be.
I want my money and my time Back.
@VoodooPolitics1 I rather Shill for Obama than some lame teabagging repuke
@SageofHistory As a president Nader would be useless.
However, he might make a difference if he ran for a position in the senate and managed to gain a seat. At least he would not be worse than the rest of that bunch.
@stanjz @stanjz , are you under the effects of those drugs you mentioned?, Your judgement seems affected, “they bribe some of our politicians” name a motherfucking politician that isn’t bought and paid for , the most preposterous one “Obama doing things by the book”, what book? the torture manual ?, do me a favor go an fuck yourself.
@VoodooPolitics1 Your party is dead, Repub, get over it.
@SageofHistory You remember that seat belt that saved your mother’s life? Yeah, Nader is useless, sure.
@TheUSMetalhead Nader is useless, even if he were elected president he would have no congressional power. The only thing he could do is veto every bill across the board, that’s not progress, that’s stagnation.
@stanjz You are absolutely right. We have plutocracy, nothing more, nothing less.
@TheUSMetalhead How much are the repubs paying you to try to syphon off votes this november?
look, it’s a fact that corporate America funds everything, including our government. We’re run by Plutocrats who are threatened because we have a President who wants to do things by the book. The government saves the economy, protects the country, makes sure our air is clean, makes sure our water is safe. Corporations charge is excessive fees on credit, sign us up to complex mortgages, cover up the effects of tobacco, chemicals and drugs. They bribe some of our politicians and control our media
@TheUSMetalhead Nader’s Raiders lol isnt he going for 2010 Senate Connecticut?
@TheUSMetalhead That of just any 3rd party in generation. Just about anything is better than the 2- party circus we’ve got running here
The bankers control both the right and the left? What do you know. AJ is right.
@megagagnon1 Do you get pleasure in ignoring things? Of course unfettered spending is bad, but spending by itself is NOT the problem. I’m not suggesting we spend less or more specifically, but you can’t look at a two-sided problem and yell at one side.
Ah, the faulty “they can’t and neither can I” argument. You’re under the implication that homosexuality is a lifestyle choice. “encourage them to serve in the front lines” Nice bigotry there, consider me done with this one.
@5o1id spending is the problem. the bigger and more powerful the federal government gets, the more problems we have. bank bailouts, farming subsidies and other massive corporate ripoffs increase as you increase the budget. i can get married, and so can any gay. a gay man can’t marry another man, and neither can i. i do think gays should serve in the military, actually i would encourage them to serve on the front lines.
@megagagnon1 It’s not “changing the subject”. It’s all the same discussion, it naturally evolves.
Gay’s cannot get married, cannot openly serve in the military, and until just a few days ago didn’t have visitation rights. I don’t think you understand what equality means.
And I know government is not fiscally responsible, but it ISN’T just because of spending. It’s a lack of taxation and overall revenue being brought in. Sure, we can cut in some places, but spending isn’t the sole problem.
@5o1id every individual has rights. a gay is an individual. therefore a gay has rights. all the same, equal. now you change the subject to the gold standard. the government isn’t fiscally responsibly, spending is getting more and more out of control. and with all this spending, do you think the government has been doing a good jobs protecting us against corporations and banks?
@megagagnon1 As long as money is spent effectively and recouped through taxes, there IS no problem. You’re fighting for fiscal responsibility, but that doesn’t mean less spending only.
And I’ve already seen the video. If all you got out of it was that we’re doomed, well, I don’t know what to say. But it advocates a return to the gold standard , which is a problematic proposition in itself.
And no, gay’s don’t have equal rights. A ‘right to individuality’ doesn’t result in equality.
